Hello,

We only would like the guest and host OS to communicate with each other. Is
there a link or information regarding the throughput of the "Internal
Network" Virtual Network adapter when communicating with the Host OS?
Would performance benefit if we utilized an actual NIC (separate from host
NIC) for communications between only host & guest OS?

I suppose CPU speed/load plays a factor in the virtual network "Internal
Network" adapters speed.

I do not have hard numbers handy - but you are correct that the speed
and load of the CPUs is a strong factor here. Another factor is the
size of the packets being sent over the network. With larger packets
higher bandwidth is possible.
