2003 VS not receiving packets

Message:

Win 2003 sbs running Virtual Server for quite some time. Today not
sure why but Service pack 1 was installed on VS. TS users were getting
a reboot message on their desktop. Someone must have rebooted the VS
and when it came back up no one could connect to it. After further
review here are the syptoms:

Under local connection status i have lots of packets sent but 0 packets
received.
The network card under network properties is different than the real
server. VS is listed as an Intel 21140 and the real server is listed as
broadcom netExtreem Gigabit not sure if that matters.

Firewall is disabled
no ip filters (that i know of)

Things I tried.
Disabled card re enabled it.
Uninstalled network card and let windows reinstall it.
Tried to run scw but it said it was not installed.
I rolled back SP1 rebooted but it had no effect.

Once again the issue is that the network interface is not receiving ANY
packets

Not sure what to do next.

Any suggestions.
