msvmscsi1 - Issuse once a day

I have been seeing this error about once a day on one of the virtual
computer. I have Virtual server 2005 R2 and 4 Virtual machines. The Host is A
RAID -5 Utra 320. with 512M cache. and the system have 4G ram Quad proc.
The Virtual machines are running fine, There is no errors in the Host event
log concering any Drive Issues. i ran consistency check and the drives came
out Fine.
Only one of the four servers logs this error. they all use virtual scsi. I
run a backup about that time 2:30am on that server. is this just too much
data to process or is it a real issue.

I get this error message often, and I can recreate it, basically - the host
system's IO is too busy and can not do what the Guest asked of it. So far,
after 5 months, it has not caused anything evil to happen.

I can recreate this issue if I just try coping some huge file on the Host
system.

Have you run any performance monitoring checks against the host and/or guest
OS yet? You can check to see if the disk subsystem is the bottleneck by
checking the queue lengths. If it is high, then you need to reconfigure
your hard disks, get faster drives, more spindles, defrag, etc...

Hi 2 All.

I had the same problem. Every day i have veritas making backup of a Vm,
about 7 Gb, but yesterday there was no backup and vm stops responding, after
a restart, a had a look to eventvwr and found the same problem as "Sam
NetAdmin".

I already tri to found KB in Google and Microsoft but, the only thing i have
found was someone talking about " low memory issue. It is like the file
cache isn't flushing fast enough to keep up, therefor it runs out of physical
RAM and the imaging process eventually dumps on itself. "

Can any confirm that? Is there any hotfix for this problem?
