I have successfully virtualized 7 servers already, and number 8, which the
last one I have to do, I'm getting this error during deployment of the
image.

Hello,

which version of VSMT and ADS do you use?

The error message means that ADS could not access the partition. For this
you need to add the driver of your SCSI/RAID controller to the Deployment
Agent of ADS. Here is a KB article that described that.

ADS is version 5.2.5149.0
VSMT is version 2005 as best I can tell, the date on the files is from 10/04

It is a Compaq Smart Array 3200. I downloaded the drivers from hp.com,
verified that it was installed on the server and then copied the files into
the C:\Program Files\Microsoft ADS\NBS\Repository\User\PreSystem folder and
restarted adsbuilder. I re-ran the deployvm.cmd and got the same error
message... Should I start the whole process over now that I've got the
drivers for the array controller in the ADS folder?

Hello Jason,

you can look into the eventlog at the ADS Server and find what driver is
missing for the DA. This could you compare with the INF from the Smart Array
driver.

Is this what I should be looking at? I have no idea what this device is...
I've added the inf file for the array controller and the nic card of the
production server, not sure what other driver it could want.
