Can VSMT be configured to ignore FAT32 partition?

Hello,
I am in the process of converting a test lab from using Ghost and many
server to fewer servers running Virtual Server 2005 R2.
I have a significant investment in ghosted O/S's that I'm trying to
preserve.

My current typical server configuration, using ghost, consists of an IDE
drive partitioned in the following manner.

Primary Partition - FAT 32 - C: - boot.ini - dual boot Windows 98
installed w/ Ghost Utilities or to Drive e: ( win2K/23)
Extended Partition
Logical Partition - FAT32 - D: - Ghost Images to restore
Logical Partition - NTFS - E: - Windows 2000/2003 Operating system
restored from ghost images.

Following KBASE 555306, Step 7 ( hw validation ) complains about the FAT32
partitions.
I can't convert the FAT 32 partitions to NTFS, as I need to restore several
more ghost images for vm migration later.

I Googled this and found that in Step 8 you can set a switch to tell the p2v
portion to ignore the FAT32 partitions.

I was able to complete through Step 11 ( the last step in the KBASE )
without any error messages appearing.

When I started the VM, the automated depolyment agent appeared to start.
The last status message displayed is...
DEPLOYMENT AGENT STATUS
Connected [192.168.100.110]: valid BMCP message received at 17:01:00.
That was about 1.5 hours ago, and there it sits.
There doesn't appear to be any CPU cycles being consumed, so I'm thinking
the process is hung.

Based on my configuration above, am I just pounding sand trying to get this
to work?
What other options do I have that will allow me convert my old ghost
installations?
I'm talking about 100+ server configurations, and I don't want to have to
recreate them manually.

Any info. is appreciated.
