Guest OS not seeing second NIC card

I added a second NIC card to the computer, created the Virtual Network, and
connected it to the virtual machine under virtual Network Properties.

However, the Guest machine is not seeing the second NIC card, just the first
one. Any idea what to look at?

I am running Virtual Server 2005 R2 with Windows 2003 Server as the Host and
Guest OS's. All the latest SPs have been applied.

Virtual machines never "see" physical network cards. You can add a
second network card to the virtual machine and connect it to your second
physical network card if you want.

You can create virtual network cards in virtual machines, you connect
virtual network cards to virtual networks, and you connect virtual
networks to physical network cards.

to be simple, go to your Network card configuration > add another card > on
add wizard you will get a choice which "Physical" NIC to link to & you are
done.
Now, go to your Virtual Machine configuration within Virtual Server admin
website and add the network card you created above and restart the VM.
