Urgent: How Do I expand a full virtual hard drive

Source: microsoft.public.virtualserver
Sent: 04/02/2006
From: "Nina Chandler" <(email address - cut out)>
Message:

I have run out of space after I restored a SQL database - and I want to
increase my virtual hard drive from what II have 16 GB to 230 GB. When I
created the Hard disk I was a Newbie and I did not realize this is a
permanent selection.

Any way, I have searched the Virtual Server Help - and it mentions something
about how I can "merge" additional drives - but I cant find these options in
my Admin menu.

The newsa group mentions how I can achieve this using imaging ["Once you
create the a VHD with its maximum size, you cannot change it. You will need
to treat it like a physical hard drive and use an imaging program to move to
a larger disk.[Steve Jain] ....."]

Does anyone know of such imaging program? I got an old copy of Ghost -
should I use that? Or someone know Microsoft or a third party product I need
to purchase?

Thanks

NC
