VMWARE Supports x64 Guest for Free, When will VS2K5 support this?

Message:

VMWare just announced a new version of their GSX server now called VMWare
Server (in Beta) that supports x64 bit Guest OS. And it's free.

Take a look:
http://www.vmware.com/products/server/
http://www.vmware.com/support/guestnotes/doc/guestos_win2003.html

When will Virtual Server 2005 support a x64 bit Guest OS (as well as the
Host OS, naturally)

Another difference that is a point of issue is Virtual Server does not allow
you to connect a physical drive to a guest OS. In otherwords, in a SAN
configuration, I can not CLONE a physical drive in production and than attach
that cloned drive to a test server setup as a Guest OS in Virtual Server. I
can do this with VMWARE. When will this be supported in Virtual Server?

Regards,

Note: We currently use Virtual Server 2005 R2 in a Host Based Clustered
Configuration (3-Node) as well as VMWare GSX Server (7 Servers)

I have found Pros and Cons for both solutions, but didn't want to get into
the full comparison in this post. Mostly just want answers to the questions
above!
