Searching for better performance with multiple machines on one Host

Experts,

Sorry for all the questions today. I just took over this job and while I
was initially blind-sided trying to take over from a colleague who stood up
VMs all over the place I am now getting the hang of it.

We have this one system (8-processors, 8GB RAM) running four VMs. On the
CPU resource allocation page, I see the following.

Machine 1
Relative Weight - 100
Reserved capacity (% of one CPU) -100%
Maximum capacity (% of one CPU) 100%
Reserved capacity (% of system) 12.5%
Maximum capacity (% of system) 12.5%

Machine 2
Relative Weight - 100
Reserved capacity (% of one CPU) -100%
Maximum capacity (% of one CPU) 100%
Reserved capacity (% of system) 12.5%
Maximum capacity (% of system) 12.5%

Machine 3
Relative Weight - 100
Reserved capacity (% of one CPU) -100%
Maximum capacity (% of one CPU) 100%
Reserved capacity (% of system) 12.5%
Maximum capacity (% of system) 12.5%

Machine 4
Relative Weight - 100
Reserved capacity (% of one CPU) -100%
Maximum capacity (% of one CPU) 100%
Reserved capacity (% of system) 12.5%
Maximum capacity (% of system) 12.5%

Can someone tell me how I might adjust these numbers to reach better
performance?
