Security for Virtual Servers

Source: microsoft.public.virtualserver
Sent: 02/04/2006
From: Madrona
Message:

I am setting up a virtual lab.

I am going to run VSR2 on a Quad Processor box with 20GB of ram. I want to
allow certain team members access to the virtual machines. By that I mean
that I want certain users to be able to start/stop specific virtual machines
as well as restrict access to controlling them. For example:

VM1, VM2

Users Joe, Sally and Bill

Joe can access start VM1 and remote control VM1 but can not start/stop or
remote control VM2.

Sally can remote control VM1 or VM2 but has not administrative control over
the machines (this will probably be done using remote desktop).

Bill has full control of VM1 and VM2 - that is; he can start/stop and remote
control either one.

Any ideas?
