Anyone proved StarWind works. Need for Exchange restore (ARCServe)

I have the ARCserve Backup v11.1 Exchange option. I would need access to my
DAT backup tapes in the guest OS that includes Exchange 2000. i.e. you can
not restore to disk then move files to VM and mount databases.

(The workaround would be to use ARServe's virtual filesystem device to
backup Exchange. But have yet to prove I can move device onto the guest OS
and don't work to redesign my live backup system, Anyone?)

There's really no way to get SCSI access inside a VM, VirtualPC only
emulates a very specific set of hardware and SCSI/Tape access isn't
supported. There is iSCSI, but I don't think that would work well with
Arcserve.

The only way I've used Arcserve with VM's is to have a client agent
installed in the VM and it be backed up by an Arcserve Server that runs on
real hardware.
