I do not understand the documentation for creating a SCSI drive as my primary
"c" drive, (I want to get around the 137 Gb limitation on the IDE drive).

Is there a clear and precise document as to when and when you do this SCSI
thing?
When I crete a VM, in the configuration panel, it does not show SCSI. Is
this done before I put the guest OS on, after, what\when?

It is much the same as doing it on a real machine. While the machine is
stopped, create a SCSI interface from the admin console. Boot up the vm and
it will instal the software for it. If it has problems, try reinstalling the
VMAdditions.

Then the SCSI interface is working you can attach a vhd to it.
