Keep getting this error on a VS DC:

Source: W32Time
Event ID: 50
The time service detected a time difference of greater than 5000
milliseconds for 900 seconds. The time difference might be caused by
synchronization with low-accuracy time sources or by suboptimal network
conditions...etc.

Do you think this could be because of a taxed VS or something else?

time sync disabled already. :(

Host and guest are on the same physical nic (this is on a HP DL360 so the
two nics are combined as one for fault tolerance and performance).

What is DFS share?

Is your Guest part of the domain? What the w32time is configured to
synchronize with? Will you be able to post your xml file where I can see
config?

I dont think it is under much of a load at all... I will run performance
monitor on it to see what happens when it is generating the event log. I can
also wipe out the VM and create a new one. It is a clean install of just
WS2003EE (512MB of ram, 4GB SCSI) with all the updates applied then
DCPromo'd to a DC.

We have 5 other VM's on that server (DL360 G4, single Xenon 3Ghz, 2GB of
memory). Only one of the VM's has any type of significant load but have its
relative weight down to 90.

synchronize on a more regular basis.
