Network cable Unplugged when transfering data from host PC to Gues

Hi all:
Thanks in advance for looking into this issue that I am experiencing:
I have Virtual Server 2005 installed on windows XP as host OS and 2 Guest OS
both are windows server 2003, when I attempt to copy even small amount of
data back and forth from Host to Guest(both Virtual Machines), causes the
Host PC to display "Local Area Network cable unplugged" message. Message is
displayed intermittenly until the transfer operation is done. I can transfer
data to VM from another Laptop on the same physical network without seeing
the same problem.

Both Virtual machines are connected to the same virtual network adpater and
is the only adapter configured for both VM.

Hardware:
Dell 8300 2GB RAM SATA 250GB 3Ghz P4
