Host is Windows XP Pro w/ Virtual Server 2005.

I have a physical drive, formatted as ext3 (Linux) that I want to mount from
a Linux virtual machine. I've created a Linked Virtual Hard Disk and pointed
it to the physical disk, which is listed in the VHD properties as Unmounted.

When I attempt to add the VHD to the Linux virtual machine, I get the error
"The hard drive settings could not be saved. The parameter is incorrect."
What parameter is incorrect?

Am I not able to obtain raw access to a physical drive? And if not, when
will this functionality be available? This would be quite useful.

In Virtual Server you can only use a linked disk to create a virtual
hard disk (by converting it). You cannot boot a virtual machine with a
linked disk in it.
