Hi

I'm planning to use Virtual server for a small test enviroment. Will a
computer with AMD XP 1900+ proc, and 1,2 GB ram be enough to run host
system with 3-4 guest machines?

The most basic thing you need to confirm is that you have sufficient
physical ram in the box for:
1) The host operating system (running Virtual Server)
2) ALL guests requirements (so if 3 machines with 256 meg each 768 megs)
3) Video RAM for each guest / little more for Virtual Server

So with 3 256 meg guests you should be ok.

It'd probably do adequately as long as you aren't real concerned with speed.
I run VS on my Athlon XP 1800 that only has 512M of RAM.

So the load will be modest. They will only be used for testing consepts,
such as Exchange clustering, DC configurations, multi tree/forrest scenarios
for A.D and so on.

Is it possible to run Virtual Server on a D.c?
