Save/Restart a virtual DC in Hyper-V

Hi All -

I have a virtual machine Domain Controller in Hyper-V, both running in WS
2008. I disabled the time synchronization between the host and DC vm and set
the DC vm to use an outside time source. If I save the running DC vm, when it
restarts it will have a system time that is the time when it was saved.

Is there a way to get the DC vm to automatically resync after it restarts?
I'm thinking that if there is a script that I can get Hyper-V to run after it
restarts the DC vm and if I can get that script to perform a resync within
the vm, I'm good. Even better is if the vm itself knows it was restarted and
can run a script at that time. I do not want to set time polling within the
DC vm to 1 minute as a workaround.

Any solutions or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

- chris
