Question about Virtual Server file sharing and loopback adapter

Hi,
I setup the loop back adapter to share files with the host OS the way that
instructed in Virtual Server 2005 chm help file.
Now my guest os has the following two network adapter :

1)The actual adapter to connect to the internet
2)The loopback for file sharing between host and guest

How do I find out and assure that the guest uses the loopback (instead of
the real one) to access to the host's shared folders?
What is the speed difference between loopback and the real network adapter?

Hi Max,

I am not 100% without trying, but if I were the first thing I would do is
open network connections, on the menu bar select advanced and move the
network adapter that is binded to the loopback to the top postion so that it
is used first. Then to confirm that this indead is the adapter accessing the
shared resources I would install wireshark on the guest and attempt accessing
resources from the share, then analyze the packets, you will see the ip
address used during the access of the resources. You will need to be quick to
stop the wireshark application as you will notice alot of traffic generated.
