I am physically connecting a server directly to a SAN without a switch(not a
good idea i know, but budget is not allowing a switch yet).
Which of the following implementation is more ideal(better,faster or does it
matter at all)
- allocating one or multiple SAN volume to the physical server, and use this
as virtual disk for my virtual server.

OR

- share the physical NIC that connect directly to SAN as Virtual Network and
let the Virtual server directly access the LAN

Does anyone know which is better and why?
