Delayed Write Failures and disk errors

Source: microsoft.public.virtualserver

Message:

I have 7 virtual server hosts each running approx 10 - 15 virtual machines
each.
I have plenty of RAM in each host (64 gig each) and there is at least 4
network cards in each host. One NIC on each host is dedicated to the server
host operating system only and the rest of the NICs are dedicated to virtual
machines. I am having all kinds of issues that the users are unable to
remote desktop into the virtual machines and when I reboot the vms and look
in the event logs, the machiens with issues have tons of "delayed write
failures" and "errors were detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\D during a
paging operation". All windows updates/patches installed on both hosts and
virtual machines. All NICs have current drivers. I thought I fixed the
issue about a month ago when I updates all teh NIC drivers, but now the
problem is back. Every day another machine or two shows the same issues and
all the machines have disk errors which slow the machines down really bad and
then wont allow remote desktop connections until they are rebooted. Any
ideas Please? I have been working on this for a month with little to no
success in elimating the issue. All hosts are Poweredge 6850s.
