RDP Failure until connect VIA VMRC

Source: microsoft.public.virtualserver

From: Mr Mike
Message:

I have Virtual Server hosting a half dozen machines. This machine I'm
addressing today is a Windows Server Standard 2003 that has been setup as a
terminal server that has anywhere to about 10 to 15 people on it at a time.

About once a week, all my connected users sessions at the same will
experience disconnectivity. Their RDP sessions act as if the network cable
were unplugged.

I can ping the machine, but not RDP into, nor access any shares.

I've discovered that connectivity will be restored only after I log into
VMRC, and bring up the machine in the VM console. I don't even have to log
in or anything, just click on the VM console button, and magically, all my
users sessions are restored.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
