I have created a Windows XP image on my pc for testing purposes. I then
copied the image over to a Windows 2003 SP1 DC.

When I try and start the image I get this error:

"could not be restored because of a host processor type mismatch or hardware
assisted virtualization is required, but not available."

The error message makes sense to me but I have several questions:

Is there a way to prep the image to make it work before I transfer over to
the server?

Is there a help section I have not seen about moving images from system to
system?

This looks like an awesome tool and I am really seeing the big picture now
and can't wait to start deploying this more often.

You probably had a CPU capable of this on your test PC but not on your
new PC and if you move over the VMC file the settings for the VT
technology will be transfered over as well, which you do not want!

over, just the VHD file could be transferred!
