Virtualization in the enterprise is a topic that is raging in the IT
industry. Almost all businesses are using servers and have vast data
centers that need to be managed efficiently. With their growing
computing needs the need to add servers to their data centers also
increases and this involves a lot of expenditure, amounts that could
be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. This is where
virtualization in the enterprise makes its importance known.

Being a fairly new technology to computing, virtualization in the
enterprise is treated with a good bit of caution by the business
owners and administrators. Many of them want to have the technology of
virtualization in the enterprise tested by others before they test the
waters themselves. The fact is that unlike the other 'new
technologies' that the IT industry has been flooded with, and caused a
great deal of disappointment as well due to the higher expectations
that the industry had of the products, virtualization in the
enterprise is a technology that has actually over delivered compared
to what it has promised the end user.
