I am using Virtual Server 2005 R2 and have installed Windows Server 2003 R2
SP2 to the virtual machine. I would like to explore using this virtual
server for Symantec Backup Exec. I need to know how to bind the external USB
hard drives that we currently use on the host machine, to the Virtual machine
so that they are available for writing the backup files. I am probably
missing something obvious, but i can't seem to figure out how to do it. Any
help would be appreciated.

The only way to do this is to access the USB disk over the network -
like on a separate physical computer. Virtual Server does not natively
support USB.
