Is this a product that runs a a server as virtual Pc or is this a server OS
that supports virtual "guest OS" machines

Where Do I start ?

If you have never used virtual machines I would recommend that you
download VPC 2007 and play with that for a while before attempting to run
Virtual Server. VPC is more user friendly and runs from a simple user
console. You can run a server OS in the vm guest with VPC.
