Message:I'm using a Dell Poweredge 2900 w/dual processors and 4mb of ram and windows
server 2003 standard.
The guest OS is windows server 2003 standard.
I've tried creating an .ISO image and placing it in the default location of
the virtual machine. When i point the system to it and turn on VM it goes to
a dos prompt and asks for a boot disk.
I've tried putting the .ISO image on a cd and pointing the VM to the cd.
But when i trun on the VM it doesn't do anything.

Message:You need a _bootable_ ISO image. The original install media for Windows
Server 2003, in this case. Probably the simplest is to simply use the actual
Server CD and connect the VM's CD/DVD drive to your physical one on the
server and then just put the CD in the drive.
Think of your virtual machine as exactly like a real, physical machine. You
couldn't install Windows Server on a bare machine without a bootable CD, and
you can't do it on your VM machine either.
