I am setting up a server to run multiple VS's as a proof of concept
for a client. I have a machine with a 7200 RPM SATA mirror and a 10K
RPM SATA mirror. Would I be better of putting the host OS on the 7200
and the VS's on the 10K? This box will not be in production long, a
month at the longest. Would I be better off getting 2 more 10K drives
and putting each VS on an individual hard drive? I am just wondering
how much disk I/O the host machine really needs compared to the VS's.

If this works the main server will be an HP DL385 with dual/dual core
AMD's with SAS drives.

Anyone have any other setup recommendations on the hardware end?
