Hey.
I recently installed vista and decided to load up VS2K5. So i isntall IIS
with all the stuff in it (CGI etc), and i attempt to go the the admin web
page where i get the following error:
The following error occurred:
An error occurred accessing the website application data folder.

Any ideas what to do?

Server Webapp" folder.

I also added my user account as to the security permissions for the
program files directory (not sure if this helped).

I then tried opening the address in an IE broswer (non admin).. it
prompted me for creds.. i put them in and then said couldnt connect to
this virtual server (different error).

So I then tried opening IE as an administrator..

For some reason in my Vista instance.. when you do this.. it takes
almost 5 minutes for IE to become responsive, once it was I was then
prompted for creds again, put them in and all is working!

Hope this helps someone out there.
