Reoccuring events

We are evaluating virtual server 2005 for production with our dedicated
virtual server environment (IE. Customer pays X dollars a month for a
dedicated virtual server).

We stood up 6 hosting servers on brand new 1750s running Server 2003 with 4
Gigs of ram each running virtual server 2005. Each virtual hosting server
had 15 virtual servers created and monitored externally.

Every virtual server on each of the host machines was loosing connectivity
amost every hour. Below is the up/down times for one.

Some of my co-workers interpret this MSDN page as meaning that the process
of saving the state actually shuts down the virtual server temporarily while
it's saving -
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/msvs/msvs/virtual_machine_state_diagram.asp

Under the IVMVirtualMachine method / Save
----
1. vmVMState_Saving
2. vmVMState_TurningOff
3. vmVMState_DeleteMachine
4. vmVMState_TurnedOff
----

Has anybody experienced this before?

Thanks!
