Network Adapter Help Needed

MVP friends --

As you can see from my signature block, I am an MPV (Microsoft Project) and
work as a trainer and consultant on Microosft Project Server. My laptop is
running the Windows Server 2003 operating system. I have Virtual Server
2005 R2 installed on my laptop with Project Server 2007 installed in a
Windows Server 2003 virtual machine. I have created two Virtual Networks,
one for my wireless card and one for my LAN connection. I have these
Virtual Networks attached to my Project Server 2007 Virtual Machine. This
provides me network connectivity and it works well.

While using my Project Server 2007 virtual machine, I also need to access
files on my laptop's C: drive from inside the Virtual Machine. To
accomplish this, I created Network Places inside the Virtual Machine that
point to the necessary folders on my laptop's C: drive. Again, this works
great.

My only problem is when I am traveling and am in a location where I do not
have any Internet connectivity, such as at an airport or at a client site
that does not allow me network connectivity. When I don't have network
connectivity, I cannot access the folders on my laptop's C: drive from
within the Virtual Machine. Is there any way to set up my system so that I
can access the folders on my laptop's C: drive when I don't have network
connectivity?

Thanks in advance for your answer.
