It's weird that there is a feature that allows you to AUTOMATICALLY power ON
all Virtuals but NOT turn OFF.

several times that during a shutdown, it doesn't wait long enough and the
service gets stopped before the VMs are closed. Perhaps this is something
that I need to troubleshoot if its not supposed to do that.

Bottom line if you are doing a controlled shut down, better to play it safe
and manually shut down the VMs rather than reply on a failsafe.

I created a batch to shutdown the virtual server service and added it as
shutdown script in the local GPO . Since then I never found a VM which has
not been taken down correctly.
This is aldo a suggested practice in the Microsoft WP
