Slow applications?

Hello

We've instaled a VM, Windows server 2000. On that VM there are two
applications running two java-applications (in DOS-screens). Normally they
are minimized in the taskbar, but when we try to maximize them, nothing
happens, you see them "pressed in" in the taskbar as if they where maximized
but they aren't being exposed on screen.
The CPU load on the Hostserver and Guestserver are both very low, so this
can't be the problem. There is also more than enough RAM.
Does any one know of these problems?
