Shadow Copy?

I am using the beta of R2 SP1, I was excited to see a hot backup option to
take images of a virtual machine without shutting down, however I do not see
how to set this option up on a virtual machine. Am I missing something? I'd
assume there is some type of setup somewhere. And then how do you revert or
restore back to a specific state? If anyone has docs or a link, please post
here!

was the ability to take hot copies of the system state without requiring

you only have a downtime when you set up the shadow copies in the beginning.
after that you can take backups of the shadow copies whenever you like.

However, the article is more than a year old and requires some coding. Could
be that R2SP1beta provides a more convenient way, but I have not dugg into
that one.

Yeah, I think it did change, but I can't find a thing about it anywhere,
