Broadcom Host and Guest Network Disconnect

Source: microsoft.public.virtualserver
Sent: 10/22/2006
From: Thomas Goddard
Message:

Running a DELL Poweredge 1950 and the network on the host disconnects when I
turn on a guest machine. Both nics are setup on the guest:

Virtual network adapter 1 Connected to “External Network (Broadcom BCM5708C
NetXtreme II GigE (NDIS VBD Client) #2)”
Current Ethernet (MAC) address: 00-03-FF-C1-FE-A8
Virtual network adapter 2 Connected to “External Network (Broadcom BCM5708C
NetXtreme II GigE (NDIS VBD Client))”
Current Ethernet (MAC) address: 00-03-FF-DE-FE-A8

This is a brand new server and I paid good cash for it!! This is killing my
project release date!!!!!!!!!! Is there any resolution for this issue yet?
I tried applying the MS Scaleable Networking Pack and it didn't help (host os
still loses connectivity)

HELP!!!
