HOST OS sees only 2.5GB RAM out of 4 or 8GB

I know this might be a question best asked in another group, but since
the purpose of this box is to be the host of VS2005 R2 and since one or
more of you might have already run into this while setting up a heavy
duty box for VS hosting, I thought I'd ask here first.

I've got a Supermicro Dual-Xeon (dual core Woodcrests) with 4 to 8GB of
RAM. (I tried 8, then tried 4 when I ran into this problem).

For the benefit of the 4 extra VM licenses, I'm using Windows Server
2003 Enterprise R2 as the host. For some reason, when I have either 4
or 8GB of RAM installed, I only see 2.75GB.

I thought Enterprise could see up to 64GB of RAM.

I have a PCI-e shared memory nVidia 6200 video card and a PCI-X Adaptec
2820SA RAID controller. Otherwise there's nothing else in the system.

Any ideas on this?
