I'm running VS2005 R2 on a Toshiba Techra M5 which has two built in NIC's 1)
Intel PRO/1000 PL. 2) Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG. Both NIC's work fine in
the Host OS but unfortunately the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG while available
as a physical network device doesn't work. I've tried using static and dhcp
settings in the virtual machine with no luck. I have enabled Virtual Machine
Network Services for both network devices. And have updated the Intel driver
for the Wireless network device to version 10.5.1.59. Finally the laptop is
running XP Pro SP2 with the latest critical patches applied.
