Thank you for that, but we are also seeing the problem copying from one
virtual SCSI disk to another in the same NT4 guest.
So, I don't see a connection to TCP-offloading.

Yes, but since the OP reinstalled the VM Additions, the SCSI driver
would have been installed then, if he did not do it during the OS
installation.

The 600MB copy went in about 2 minutes.
