Automatic startup: what permissions does the user account need

Hi all,

I am trying to configure a virtual machine with automatic startup. I have
created a machine local user account for this purpose. I have assigned modify
permissions on the VM files to this user account.

The VM starts, but has no network connectivity. When I remove the automatic
startup option for the VM, network connectivity is restored. I tried adding
the user account running the VM to the local Administrators group, but that
did not help.
