I have just attempted a physical to virtual move to 2003 R2. Everything
appeared to go ok but when I rebooted the virtual machine after the deploy
step I get the error message INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE. Yet the machine was
in the startup splash screen.

Has anyone run into this issue? The little I find on it on the net refers
to ghost not Microsoft cloning.

Hello Paul

It seems that the OS miss the driver for the SCSI adapter. You should manual
change the VHDs to the IDE adapter, start the VM, install the VM Additions
and shutdown. Then re-configure the VHD to SCSI adapter.

I modified the disks start up from SCSI to Primary channel on the
configuration page and it now works.
