Does anyone have any gotchas or special tips for installing VS 2005 R2 on
Vista RC1? I am getting ready to install it and was wondering if anyone has
already done this.

Which I think can be summed up by choosing these options under the IIS
installation in Vista ( from a previous post):

"Make sure that II 6 Metabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility is
is selected under web management tools

Also, make sure CGI is selected under App Dev Features

Finally, make sure that Windows Authentication is selected under
security."

You need to run IE in administrator mode in order for the VS Admin
page to display correctly.

I've installed VS 2005 R2 on Vista (Ultimate) RC1, but the website doesn't
work properly. I can connect to it, and get some text output (using the
default IE font, i.e. without any styling), but all of the images and links
on the page are broken.

I am running IE as an administrator, and I can see that VSWebApp.exe does
start when I connect (and presumably produces the text output that shows up
in IE). My machine is domain-joined, if that's relevant.

Any ideas what might be the problem? IE shows the following scripting error:

Error: Object expected
Code: 0
URL: http://localhost/VirtualServer/VSWebApp.exe?view=1
