x64 vs x32 on the host OS

Message:

I am planning to configure a High Availablitiy system by using several VMs
via Virtual Server. If I have 2 AMD x64 1 cpu servers, which at the moment
don't have an OS, which host OS should I purchase in order to run 2 VMs on
each? I'm thinking the host os would not run any apps other than the VMs.
Would x64 gives me performance or licensing advantages, etc. or just the
disadvantage of costing more?

Host os choices (Retail);
a. Windows Server Standard 2003 R2 64Bit 10 Client
b. Windows Server Standard 2003 64Bit 10 Client
c. Windows Server Standard 2003 R2 32Bit 5 Client
d. Windows Server Standard 2003 32Bit 5 Client
