Hi to all, I have a machine configured as member server (Windows Server 2003
SP1) running VS 2005 R2, ADS and VSMT. I successfully capture an image but,
when I launch machine_deployvm.cmd I receive an error. I explain:
The virtual machine correctly start using PXE and connect to ADS but, after
about 1 minute, the job inside the ADS server fail with this error message:
The network circuit was disconnected, there is not enough memory to perform
this operation.

Any idea?

Hello,

from the VSMT online help file:
The deployment step failed with a "The network circuit was disconnected"
message
Cause: If the network adapter on the computer running Virtual Server has the
Offload TCP Segmentation or Large Send Offload setting enabled, the virtual
machine deployment step may fail with the error message "The network circuit
was disconnected."

Solution: Turn off the Offload TCP Segmentation and Large Send Offload
settings for the network adapter, as follows, and then try the deployment
step again, as described in Deploy the image.

1.. In the Network Connections control panel, right-click the connection
and click Properties.
2.. Click Configure.
3.. In the Property list on the Advanced tab, select Offload TCP
Segmentation.
4.. In the Value box, select Off.
5.. In the Property list, select Large Send Offload.
6.. In the Value box, select Off, and then click OK.
The computer will restart.
