Can"t route past gateway

Message:

Maybe I'm just missing something, but I can't get my guest operating system
to route past its default gateway.

The host machine is W2k3 R2 SP1 and configured as a DC. The host NIC's are
configured as follows:
On Board Broadcom - configured with corp network - 192.168.1.10
On Board Broadcom - disabled
PCIe Intel Pro - wired to same corp network, only has VMNS checked, no
TCP/IP Config
PCIe Intel Pro - disabled

I've created a virtual network to use the Intel NIC and configured it with
the ip 192.168.1.11. I can ping everything on the 192.168.1.x network, but I
can't route to anything beyond its default gateway (cisco router).

I guess my question is whether or not I will be able to have the guest OS on
the same network as the host and my other corporate servers, and be able to
route to the internet like my other corp servers can.
