Source: microsoft.public.virtualserver
Sent: 08/31/2006
From: Bo
Message:

I'm having difficulties with my first use of VSMT in combination with ADS1.1
- when running tc038_createvm.cmd I receive the following error after a
minute or so of processing:

*****Begin Error*****
<===Remote job output
Add device in ADS:(TC038, 00142218C7C7)
Take control of device: TC038
set patch path variable to: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
VSMT\P2V\TC038\Patches"

set script path variable to: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft VSMT\P2V\TC038"
set windows partition variable to: \device\harddisk0\partition1
set windows directory variable to: WINDOWS
set windows drive variable to: C:
set boot partition variable to: \device\harddisk0\partition1
set the name of the source device used to generate scripts: TC038
Use discovery to populate created VM info into ADS
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Error: Result Code: 2
release control of device TC038
remove device TC038
Delete Virtual Machine:TC038 on TC901.yourdomain.com
*****End Error*****

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks!
