Message:Hi Filip,
Have you tried adding my the FQDN of the website with port 1024 (!!!) to the
Local Intranet zone in IE? This should make all the difference.

Or does it just not work, period.

I have the same problem.
I can't access the remote administration website when it's added to the trusted sites. If i remove it, restart ie and access the site again, it works once. I have to add the site again to the trusted sites and i can work with it - but the next time i access the remote administration site the error 500 appears.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

THere is a known bug where if you are not connected to the host machine via remote desktop client and try to use the admin interface, this happens. THe workaround is to directly log into the server or connect to the console via remote desktop and then run it. The problem does not happen on all servers though but if it does, the above should work
