Linked Virtual Hard Disk

Message:

Platform : Running on Windows 2003 Server Enterprise on Dell 2850 5Gb ram,
dual 3.x procs. Running Virtual Server 2005 R2.

Problem: When attempting to create a linked virtual hard disk through
Virtual Server Administration Website, I recieve:"The following error
occurred:
The parameter is incorrect."

Notes: I have noticed it is passing
".../VSWebApp.exe?view=26&remoteServer=domain&vhd=4" as the parameters.

If you look at the options for creating virtual hard disk you will see a
pattern in the web parameters.
&vhd=0 : Dynamically Expanding Virtual Hard disk
&vhd=1 : Fixed Size Virtual Hard Disk.
&vhd=2 : Differencing Virtual Hard Disk.
&vhd=3 : Return blank page, no error.
&vhd=4 : Previously listed error.
&vhd=5 : Virtual Floppy Disk.

I also have Virtual Server 2005 R2 Running on an XP pro workstation. I can
create a Linked Virtual Disk on that machine. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled on the Server with no change. It appears that there is something
going on with a setting somewhere, that says the Linked Virtual Hard Disk is
not an option under the configuration that I listed at the beginning. Just a
guess...
