thru? as far as I know, Virtual Server 2005 R2 is free but for this VPC
2004, I am confuse becase when I will read on to the FAQ, it tells that I
need to buy license. Please confirm

VPC is now free (as of a few days ago). VPC 2007 will also be free when it
releases. VPC 2007 will add support for Vista as a host.

The only license you would need to buy is for the operating system you
installed in a guest on VPC. If the FAQ refers to buying a VPC license,
then the FAQ is out of date.

It's quite possible you've seen documents that say you need to buy a
licence for Virtual PC, and they just haven't been updated yet to reflect
the new status of this product.

As an aside, the licence terms for Virtual PC have no bearing on the
licence terms for the product you're hoping to run inside Virtual PC - if
you needed a licence for your guest OS last week then you still need one
today.
