When and what updates are expected for Virtual PC?

I have been using Virtual PC and upgrading since version 3. I have a
current version 7. I also have updated to Tiger 10.4.1

As has been documented, Virtual Switch is now broken. this is a problem
for me as I need this feature. When can I expect an update that will
resolve this in Tiger?

In addition to my PowerBook 17" 1.5Ghz with 2GB of RAM, I also have a
PowerMac G5 dual 2.5Ghz with 4GB of RAM. I am greatly dissapointed in
the performance of VirtualPC on this system. Firstly I would have
expected that I would see a dramatic performance increase when running
Virtual PC on a G5 processor, let alone a dual processor, however it
runs no faster than on my PowerBook. Can we expect to see a performance
update that will really take advantage of a G5 and possibly even dual
processors?
