I have a Blackberry 7100r and I need to connect it through a Windows box
because I am trying to sync it with Lotus notes.

When I connect it to my powerbook, it is recognized by VPC and I set the usb
preference to share, but Windows does not seem to recognize it.

I have read that it is because it is a USB 2.0 device and the VPC with OS
10.3.9 does not like sharing, can someone please confirm this.

There's very likely some sort of USB issue with it and VPC, but I doubt
very much that it's because of USB 2.0. ALL USB 2.0 devices have to be
able to work at USB 1.1 speeds because all it takes is one USB 1.1
device and all devices on that USB controller will be operatring at USB
1.1 speeds. It's part of the USB spec.

Sorry that doesn't solve your problem though.
