Installing Stock Investor Pro

Source: microsoft.public.mac.virtualpc

Message:

I'm trying to install Stock Investor Pro, a Windows application
produced by the American Association of Individual Investors, running
Virtual PC 7 (Windows XP Home) on a G5 Mac.

The disk mounts and the installer starts up, but then produces the
following error message:

ComponentMoveData had the following error:

Media Name: DATA
Component: Report Files
File Group: Report Files
File: D:\REPORTS\compcomp.rpt
Error #: -2147024809

AAII's tech support was not very helpful:

"Unfortunately, we cannot provide support for Virtual PC, as Stock
Investor
is a Windows-based application. The "-214" error, in native Windows
systems,
typically stems from not having administrative rights."

They make it sound like I'm trying to run Stock Investor under OS X.

Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions before I return the software
for a refund? Thanks.

Barry
